INTRODUCTION

Urology in Zainoel Abidin Hospital was started by Dr. Sabilal Alif and continued by Dr. Basuki in the nineties. For several years, urology services interrupted.
In 2002 urology`s services and education was re-started by Dr. Zahri A. Rani and in 2003 Dr. Jeffri Effendi joined and later Dr. Dahril.
At present, the cases are: Urolithiasis, BPH, urooncology, urogenecology, uropediatric with open surgery and endoscopic surgery. The most prevalent cases are urolithiasis and BPH.

Trainees:
Residents (Surgery): Urology I - 12 weeks, Urology II -12 weeks.
Co-assistants (Medical Students): 2 weeks.
